The play takes place in a stage set as a court of law in San Francisco, CA. The time in which the play takes place is 1978 to present. The cast consists of Dan white (the accused), Douglas Schmidt (Defense lawyer), Thomas Norman (Prosecutor attorney), The Judge, And the rest of the characters that make up the witnesses. The situation in motion is the murder trial of Mr. White.

The intrusion happens when Mr. White discusses his murder act to the police station. I believe that by telling the full story in his perspective, we find the play moving forward with some fundamental knowledge.

Some images in this play that stood out to me where; the TV screen which helped in transition of focus to the trial and set the emotional tone for the audience. The gun was another image that stood out in which was the main tool to commit the crime. By using a gun, White could guarantee the death to his two victims.

The family conflicts of the homosexual vs the Catholics was big in this play. The firemen and policemen were all in the side of Daniel White.
